A free festival that invites you to play, get fit, people watch, and celebrate good health. one-mile of East 6th Street becomes a car-free playground for thousands of Austinites. Run, walk, bicycle, skateboard, rollerblade/skate, jog, skip, and play. East 6th Street fills with activities like hula hooping, ping pong, giant chess, jump roping, chalk art obstacle course, two learn to ride a bike stations, bike polo, photo booth, craft area, bird identification walks, cane fishing, soccer, basketball, and more. The event is co-produced by the City of Austin and BikeTexas. This is a born-in-Austin take on the Ciclovia, has become an international phenomenon.
